View Full Version : Making a text link in the swiss army slideshow

12-04-2007, 02:48 PM
1) Script Title: Swiss Army Slideshow

2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex14/swissarmy/index.htm

3) Describe problem: I am currently using this slideshow, which is awesome by the way, on a page. www.theoceancountylibrary.org/default_redesign_dd.htm - I was wondering, is there some way to add in a text link to the description? I want to make the title a link, and not just the picture.

I edited the code to add in a href in the second item in the array -
slides2[0] = ["http://www.oceancounty.lib.nj.us/HUH/PressReleases1107/oceanco_sm.jpg", "<strong><a href='http://www.theoceancountylibrary.org'>Library is one of five to win national award</a></strong><br /><br />We have been recognized by the Institute of Museum and Library Services, a federal agency, as one of the top five libraries in the nation!", "http://www.theoceancountylibrary.org"];

The problem is that the link works in Firefox, but in IE it just shows it as underlined and does not even give you the cursor.. there's something strange about how IE is reading that code. If you help me, and if you have a resolution it would be greatly appreciated..
