Find the following line in the part that needs to be inserted in the BODY of the page :

document.write('<a href="javascript:transport()">')

and add the text in red to it :

document.write('<a target="_blank" href="javascript:transport()">')

Hi using the same slideshow - I think... DHTML slideshow script

I can't open new windows when my visitor's click on an image. I used Rohan's fix above and encountered the same problem as the original poster.

my fix looks like this:

<script>
if (linkornot==1)
document.write('<a target="_blank" href="javascript:transport()">')
document.write('<img src="'+photos[0]+'" name="photoslider" style="filter:revealTrans(duration=2,transition=23)" border=0>')
if (linkornot==1)
document.write('</a>')
</script>

I added the "_blank" fix that rohan suggested. It does open a new window but it is not linked. I get a window with the url: "javascript:transport()" and an error message that an object is expected.

Would really like to fix this. My site is built around the slideshow and I don't want to lose visitors when they click a picture... Thanks!!!

Please don't post the same question in two places. The above solution will not work anyway, at least not as far as I can tell by looking at it briefly. Your answer is here:
