View Full Version : Help Floating or Static menu won't move with page

Hi,
I've tried both the Floating menu script and the static menu script with no luck. They are suposed to move when the page is move down, so that it will still show on a long page. Help, I don't know how to make either one work.

What is the difference in these two scripts, other than the way the menu box looks? Is the static script saposed to have some code in the head? If so there was none supplied.

Some of the moving things at Dynamic Drive only move in certain browsers. Usually this is documented on the script's page. Which scripts exactly are you talking about? What browser or browsers are you using?

I'm having the same problem with the floating menu script. I entered the script at the bottom, directly above the </body> tag as instructed, and even without changing the links and such to my own it does not work right.

Okay, Apparently, all you have to do is delete the <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd"> code from the page and know it's fine! WOOT!
