Multiple Animated DIVs

3) Describe problem:
How can i insert multiple DIVs like a left navigation for example with each div containing a mixture of links, text and images. and each div can be opened/closed independent of the other divs. and perhaps one global open/close (though this is not necessary).

the problems I've found are with inserting non href content inside the DIVs like on the content switching script. Or I find a script that doesn't have the animation but the DIV does work.

so i want to combine the animation with the ability to open/close divs that contain text and links and images

This script should work with DIV content containing any HTML, not just href content. Do you have a URL to the problem page?

p.s: For navigation type interfaces, Switch Content script (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex17/switchcontent.htm) would be more robust for this sort of application.

you make a good suggestion to use that script instead of the animated collapse. q. is how to combine them?

we are testing it for now here:

the site is not live and we put all the javacsript into separate files for now while testing to keep the code shorter per page.
