adding graphics to HV menu

I have successfully used the HV menu, http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/hvmenu/ , on another FP 2003 website. since I am familar with how it works, I was going to use it again, although I do not need the cross-frame functionality.

my goal is to have a 3-tier horizontal menu with a small graphic (probably jpg, maybe gif) before each top level menu item.

I cannot see an easy way to do this with HV Menu. can it be done with HV menu, or is there another menu system out there that can, or is this really hard to do?

Text string- What you want to show in the element. It can be text, an image or html
To show an image it must look like "<img src='MyImage'>"
To use roll over images use "rollover:MyImage1:MyImage2"
To leave this field blank use ""

Try using a string like this in the TextToShow field:

<img src='image.jpg' style='display:inline'>Text for this Item
