I want to know what is Ethical hacking. I want to go for this course. Is it available in India? somebody can guide me?

Ethical Hacking is:



The goal of the ethical hacker is to help the organization take preemptive measures against malicious attacks by attacking the system himself; all the while staying within legal limits.


In short you learn how to "hack" and then use your knowledge to prevent organizations from being hacked by hacking them first and giving them report details of how and why.

Not sure about the India connection but you can start with teh EC-Council's US based alternative: HERE (http://www.eccouncil.org/ceh.htm)

I know about the site but I want to know wether this course is available in India or not.

Don't take this too much the wrong way, but why would we have any idea about that? Most of the users on this site are from the US or UK. Though there are a number of users (though not frequent users) on the board from India and other countries in West Asia, it would be far simpler to just do a google search or ask on an indian message board, I think.

Right now I am pursing my course in hardware and networking. it includes MCSA MCSE CCNA Red hat linex and notebook training. After this I want to go for the ethical hacking certificate but I want to prepare myself for the ethical hacking course from now. Which sites on net can help me pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee... help me
