Hi, I would like to ask how could i setup to host my site at home like webhosting compay(ie. brinkster..) and how could I secure it from intruders.

Easy answer is installing WAMP, LAMP or MAMP (Windows, Linux, Mac).
Stands for [OS], Apache, MySQL, PHP, and sometimes comes with Perl too. Or always... not sure on that.
You could also install the components individually.
Securing it is no different than securing any server; just don't allow any back doors onto the computer, like an easy to guess FTP password, PHP script they can use to get access, etc.
LAMP isn't an installer, it's just a generic name for the Linux/Apache/MySQL/P(HP|ython|erl) environment. Installation is generally easy enough on Linux that there's no need for a separate automated installer.

Oh? No bundled installer like MAMP/WAMP? Odd, but makes sense, I guess. Most linux users would know how to install manually anyway.
