Create a blog

I want to create a blog but not an external one. I don't want a theme, or word press or anything like that. Basically I want to create one embedded in my website. So I know I can just script the entries but what I wanna know is there a script I can use for the comments. I know I can create a very basic input form and it would deliver the comments to my email. However, I would like something more immediate.

Or you could just use a CMS or add a blog to your site. :)
