View Full Version : AnyLink CSS Vertical Menu positioning

1) Script Title: AnyLink CSS Vertical Menu

2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/anylinkcss2.htm

3) Describe problem: I'm having issues with positioning of the menus after they appear. Currently they are centered in the page and significantly below where they should be. I've read a number of other threads about the issue, but none of them have helped me so far. You can find the site here (http://morger.no-ip.org).

I apologize if it's messy, it's in development, but the citations are there at least ;)

Most of the positioning problems with AnyLink x" Menus can be solved by making sure the HTML for the drop down DIVs themselves is outside any container tag on the page other than the BODY. So in your case, try moving all the drop down DIVs to the bottom of your page, just above the "</body>" tag:

<div id="menu1" class="anylinkcss">
<li><a href="javascript:ajaxpage('currentprojects.html', 'content')" title="AccessKey: c" accesskey="c">Current Projects</a></li>
<li><a href="javascript:ajaxpage('oldcode.html', 'content')" title="AccessKey: d" accesskey="d">Old Code</a></li>

<div id="menu2" class="anylinkcss">

That was exactly it ddadmin, thank you so much! If that's a common solution might be smart to include it on the description page, maybe? Anyway, thanks a bunch!

I'll post this here instead of starting a new topic:

How can I change the positioning of menu <div>? Right now it defaults just off to the right of the link. I'd like it to appear just below the link.
