Ajax XML Ticker (with one message) - need help please

3) Describe problem: The ticker works perfectly, but I only have one message that I want to scroll so it's just fading in and out. Is it possible to get it to scroll with just one message?

Hmmm no there's no easy way to change the ticker to suddenly become a scroller as well. But what you can try is to use CSS to modify the ticker's DIV so long content causes the browser to show a vertical scrollbar to accommodate it. In the CSS for the ticker, do something like the below:
