I would like to create a new layout for this old site:
http://www.anthonydellcellars.com

It was created in Dreamweaver two years ago and since then I've realized that DW is not the best way to go. I'm slowly learning CSS and I've been using Bluefish editor since I use Linux most of the time.

Recently I've had to make some changes in this site and the more I change things in DW, the more things get messed up.

I'd like to create a simple template with a 750px wide box in the middle on the page with a colored background with a header, footer and 2 columns in the main box.

What's the best way to start?

start by searching the forums for this layout... its been gone over many times before
and you can also read the Posting Policy (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24866) especially #1

I did a search for a centered two column layout and nothing came up that was useful.

What other layout description would I search for?

If someone would look at the site: http://www.anthonydellcellars.com
They could possibly suggest something that would work.

Thank you.
