3) Hi i know this solution has been touched on before, i'm not sure if the script has changed since solution has been posted.
Basically i just want to open all links from the thumbnail in a new window i.e target="_blank". I have seen the solutions posted before but i am not sure where to insert the line var optlinktarget="_blank" . Does this need to be within the thubnailviwer2.js script itself or within the html which calls it?

Basically any more detailed instructions would be great, as i seem to be missing the point completely!

if you want to open in a new window you do not need a script at all, instead use


<a href="picture" target="_blank">Link</a>

I assume you mean get the link inside the enlarged image (that's actually linked to a web site) to open in a new window. Inside the .js file, just add the changes in red:
