Hello:

I am seeking a way to incorporate a user's history or "clickstream" into the forward and back buttons on the web browser. In addition, I would like to implement some degree of persistence so that when a user returns to the page it's in the same state as when the user left.

I'm curious to know if someone has a solution in place already. Failing that, I'd like to review any relevant tutorials or listen to strategies to solve this problem.
