CSS to flash

I was wondering if there is any way to apply simple styles to text in flash. For example lets say I have some text and somewhere in there I have a text link. In regular HTML, using CSS, I tell links to have a dotted 1px bottom border and on hover the color changes and the border goes away. Is there a way to do something like this in flash.

theres one tutorial on it from kirupa.com and one from actionscript.org.there are a bunch of tutorials out there on just how to do it if you search google you'll find a bunch of good tutorials.
