This is the second time I've installed Fedora. This time, it's Fedora 7. Obviously, it has issues:
1. Huge lag when opening windows/applications
2. Can't access the internet. Network card recognized, but can never find the IP.
Those 2 have bothered me the most, and I had to re-install Windows again 'cause I can't survive without the internet and I'd go nuts waiting for my applications to load.
*sigh*
I was looking forward to Fedora :)
1. Huge lag when opening windows/applicationsI had this issue only with Fx in FC2 -- it was OK again in FC3. Perhaps you forgot to install graphics card drivers?
2. Can't access the internet. Network card recognized, but can never find the IP.What card is it?

I can't really install the graphic card drivers if I can't get access to the internet :p
It's a nVidia 7300GS; and supported. I'm pretty sure it's not the problem, cause it doesn't even say "Starting ......" for a while.
What card is it?
Marvell Yukon 88E8056 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller.
Apparently (http://chihara.naist.jp/people/2005/yasuhi-y/pukiwiki/index.php?Fedora%20Core4%2FMarvell%20Yukon%2088E8053%20PCI-E%20Gigabit%20Ethernet%20Controller) you need the sk98lin driver from Dag. That's for FC4, though, I can't find anything on FC7 -- worth a go, anyway.
I'm pretty sure it's not the problem, cause it doesn't even say "Starting ......" for a while.I agree. Perhaps ask on fedoraforum.org or #fedora?
