That is sad right... really sad, I can't believe it...

That is sad right... really sad, I can't believe it...I can. It's a measure of the stupidity of the government rather than the stupidity of the population, though -- American education generally doesn't place any importance at all on affairs outside America, so the average young American has very little exposure to large-scale maps. In my experience, at least.

We've invaded Iraq. Apparently because of some big deal. And what American can locate Iraq on a map? Heh.
I can, sometimes, if the countries are outlined. And I've always been at the very top of my class in terms of geography.
