How to block popup window 'save as..'

hi guys
i wanna display word document in an i-frame using a simple hyperlink to a .doc file
the problem is i dont want to ask user "save as popup" stuff
just want to display the word document directly...

any suggestions to do that

You cannot control what the user's computer does with files.

You could, however, make it a webpage and not a .doc file, and it would do this.

i dont want to convert it in html...
but i have seen this
in our university website one can view word documents directly through some java interface.....

Well, do you really mean java? Because that's entirely different than javascript.
