Hi guys, my first post !
I am webmaster of a few sites, and one is bugging me. I placed lots of iframes into a div, and the result is awful ! Can someone tell me why the lay-out is not the same as on the other pages ?
Before clicking on the link below with the problem, I must warn you that this is about an adult site, and pictures/movies can be seen.
This is the link: removed
Please advise !

The iframes looked fine, the material didn't. If I have missed the point and you have a real problem, post your question in such a way as doesn't require a link to x-rated material.
You could make up an example page without the x-rated content.

I received bad points because this is supposed to be advertising for a site. I am not advertising, and therefore I let you also know it is X=rated. The problem is that the iframes do not show correctly in the divs, and make the whole page show differently than ment to (background shown twice, div appears below background, etc), so it is a webbuilding problem. I also cannot change the iframes, as the content is not provided by me.
So please don't look at the pictures, just check out the code and the layout, and tell me why it is different, please _

I think you can solve it, by placing the iframes into an iframe instead of a div.

Dear mukkie,
You have received an infraction at Dynamic Drive Forums.
http://www.dynamicdrive.com/forums/showthread.php?p=105121
Reason: Self promotion or advertising (moderate)
So yes, JScheuer1, you really did miss the point ...

That page, though perhaps x-rated, is much less explicit than the one that you linked to in your post. Add to that the fact that, when I loaded your page in my browser it looked fine, and I hope you can imagine why I thought your link was for self promotion and its 'problem' just an excuse for posting the link.
Also, I never saw that other page you are comparing yours to before you pointed it out. It is not my job to view every post and its links on this forum. And all my work here is voluntary.
In any case, your link is way too explicit to use here. If you want to have folks from the forum view your page in a sincere attempt to assist you, please post a link to the page that warns of the explicit content and requires some action on the part of the user to certify that they are 18 or older before being exposed to such content, along with instructions as to how to navigate from there to your problem page.
Additionally, don't worry too much about the infraction, it expires after one month. As long as your intent here is genuine and you are not completely clueless, you will not receive any more infractions before that time. The infractions are on a point system, you now have only 7. Twenty points are required before anything adverse will occur.
Considerer it a warning for posting a link to content that is too explicit.
Good luck with solving your problem.

I though this was clear warning about the content. Anyway, thanks for your reply, but then I wonder: everyone has a website in its signature. Is that not promotion ?

Posting rules on Dynamic Drive Forums
1 Posting rules
1.1) Always be respectful and polite when posting- There is absolutely no excuse to be rude, confrontational, or hostile when posting on Dynamic Drive. This is a place where web programmers come together to solve problems, not create them. Flaming can get you banned.
1.1) Abide by our Script Usage Terms- If you're looking for help with one of our DHTML scripts, make sure you're in accordance with our Script Usage Terms first, such as ensuring the credit notice within script remains intact on your page. We do not offer support to violators, and you will be contacted instead regarding the violation.
1.2) Do not crosspost- Dynamic Drive Forums is divided into various categories. When initiating a thread, always locate the most appropriate category, and post your question only ONCE, in that category. Do not post the same question in multiple categories.
1.3) No advertisements- Dynamic Drive Forums is not the classified ads. Do not post advertisements/ self promotion/ spam of any kind. Doing so will get you banned.
1.4) No illegal requests- Do not post requests that are illegal or break the usage terms of the service in question, such as where to download warez, disable pop up ads on your free host etc.
1.5) No objectionable content- Do not post content/subject/links that may not be appropriate to everybody, including minors. Examples include adult links, hateful/ distasteful content, vulgar language etc.
2 Miscellaneous Rules
2.1) Signature- You may attach a signature should you choose to the end of your posts (via the "User Profile" feature). Signatures should be 4 lines or less, and can contain link(s). Images are NOT allowed.
2.2) PM (Private messaging)- This forum allows you to send private messages to individual members. This allows you to communicate with a member one-to-one. PM posting follows the same guidelines as above (1.x). If you are the recipient of a PM that breaks our guidelines, please email the admin ASAP with a copy of the message. Note that your PM box can only hold a maximum of 70 messages. Be sure to periodically clear out your inbox/sent folders to ensure PMs to you don't bounce.
3 Penalty
Penalty for abusing/breaking the above guidelines will result in action taken either by a moderator or admin. Sometimes it's as simple as your post being edited out (which does not always equate to a penalty, rather, just a reminder), other times, you will be contacted and warned. In more severe cases, you will be banned immedately and without notice. However banned, it is permanent.
By participating in our forums you agree to comply to all of the above usage terms. Do not come to us after you've suddenly found your posting privileges permanently revoked due to violating them.
Read the rules (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/forums/rules.htm). I don't care if everyone else is breaking them or not. If everyone else were jumping off of a cliff, I suppose you would want to be allowed to do that too . . .
