Backward links?!

Hi all,

I'm very new to web design...
My site has been up for a few months now.
A month ago i had a page rank of 2. Now it's gone down to 1:(

I've checked in google's webmaster tools, and my site has 32 external links...,
But when i check the backward links from google toolbar there is nothing...!

I've had some external links for a while now.

Could anyone explain this?

Don't look at us. We didn't do it :p
Try looking at a page of how Page Ranks work.

Website's Google Pagerank is calculated on the basis of quality of incoming links to your website and not the quantity. Try getting few links from sites which are relevant to your site and have a better PR.
