1) Script Title: Swissarmy Slide show

2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex14/swissarmy/index.htm

3) Describe problem: On the show I'm trying to implement it seems like only every other image is doing the fade/blend thing http://olliebox.com/_indexss.php to have a look. THis is just preliminary and the images aren't finalized so please... no flames. Any ideas why this might be happening? IE 7 is the browser.

Your page had a couple of heads, titles and bodies, and meta tags out of place, all not technically allowed. But the main problem appears to be that you are allowing IE to parse the page in quirks mode. To prevent that use at least a:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/1999/REC-html401-19991224/loose.dtd">

DOCTYPE.

I cleaned up your page a bit, but it probably still has some technical errors:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/1999/REC-html401-19991224/loose.dtd">

Outstanding! Just the ticket, I inherited the code and didn't even think to check for those errors. Once the tags were straightened out, your Swiss Army knife worked flawlessly. Thanks for pointing out the errors!!!
