The old "Screen capture of your desktop!" thread was getting old, so I decided to make a new one. Sorry, mods. :p

So you upload files via COMMAND LINE?!!?
Er... yes. I do all my file management from a command line, I've yet to find a single decent GUI file manager that lets me do, say,
$ rename .d .back *.dI have been known to use transparent file uploads from Kate, though.

Hmm, I had just gotten to bed when you posted that, Twey, 21 minutes before!
WOW, I'm glad I don't use...say, what version of Linux is that, anyway? :p

Er... yes. I do all my file management from a command line...
I do most everything through command line but I would screw that up.
WOW, I'm glad I don't use...say, what version of Linux is that, anyway?2.6.22-gentoo-r2, but that has nothing to do with my preference for command-line file management :-\
Did you like my desktop CAT?It's a very nice cat :) Is it yours?

Nice background, but argh, yuck. Got to hate those Mac-esque grey stripes.

Not a very pretty incarnation of a mac look-alike.
Macs are, now, anyway, sleeker. Slight gradient, but no ugly stripes, on the window chrome.
But much better than windows, of course. I applaud that.
I prefer even the Windows XP themes to that, with the possible exception of that horrible olive one.
There was a phase in web development a little while back where everyone was trying to make their sites look Mac-ish, stripes and all. It was nasty. There are even KDE themes. I've no idea why anyone would want to inflict that upon themselves.

But I do like how mac's os looks but i dont really like how it operates, so i kept my windows interface.

it looks good though confusing because you view your photo through your website. :)
Haha, yes -- at first I thought the photo was part of the environment and was wondering why the windows didn't focus when I moused over them.
