1) Script Title: DHTML Window Widget (v1.03)

2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex8/dhtmlwindow/

3) Describe problem: Hi Everyone, I am currently experiencing a problem with DHTML Window widget (v1.03) on IE6 (Works fine on IE7 and Firefox 2.0.0.6).
I have a couple of regular HTML drop down options (using <select> and <option> tags) on my page. When I use the widget code to get a pop-up <DIV> to work, everything works fine until I drag the pop-up <DIV> on top of the drop down options. The drop down options will show up on top of the pop-up <DIV>. So the pop-up <DIV> cannot cover up the drop down options.

I will attach a screenshot showing this problem. You can see the 2 drop down options on the page behind the pop-up <DIV> go through a picture on the pop-up <DIV>. (the pop-up <DIV> is the one with the thin white border). If there is any workaround or solution to this issue, please let me know, thank you very much. (Or is it a known issue with IE6?) :)

(I cleared the text in the drop down menu for privacy issues).

This is a CSS bug in IE6 and below that causes the SELECT menu to always occupy the top most level. The workaround is to dynamically hide the select menus on the page whenever the DHTML window is open. There might be modification John or someone else posted on the forums a while back that shows you how to do this (not sure, try doing a search), though currently there are no plan to update the script officially for this, since IE6 is a legacy browser anyway.
