Animated Text/Scroller

I’m hoping for a line of text across the bottom of my page, which scrolls horizontally, from left to right for the first caption, and then right to left for the second, and so on (there will be a lot of captions).

It would be nice too, to have the text fading out as it gets to the end of it’s path if that’s possible.

I would like to be able to specify the font size, colour and style, and the background colour.

And, lastly, it would be great to be able to make each caption a hyperlink. Not just to a particular page, but to a specific Named Anchor within that page.

There are a bunch of scrollers that do some of the things you want, such as http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex2/slidescroll.htm or http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex2/tickertape.htm But for everything you're looking for, I'd suspect you'd need to create something specific in Flash.
