Hi there..

i just wondered if its possible to disable more mouse-buttons then 1 or 2..
like when u have more buttons on your mouse, like 5..
is there a way to disable those too? in firefox!

I don't really see the point, considering those buttons would be customized for each user, so you have no idea what you are disabling.
I think I have at some point screen scripts that specify a button number, so you could probably use that, though I might be imagining things.

It's generally a very bad idea to disable system/user configurated options.

Is there something particular you are trying to accomplish? There may be another way.

hmm.. i see..

well i thought about disabling the "back" feature of the browser..
the page just visited one click before...

i want this because of some dynamic ajax content..

There is almost certainly a better way around this than trying to hijack various functions of the browser.

I'm no expert with Ajax, but the answer is probably not trying to change how the browser functions. If a default option in the browser causes trouble for your page, it's your job to code your page better, not change how the browser works.

Not sure on the details on this one. It's certainly possible to work with the browser history, though, as shown with gmail and other sites.
