There are many phones that offer a much better value than the iPhone IMO. I'm sick of this Apple hype. The Helio phone for example would be one of the phones I'd rather get than the iPhone. Here's a nice comparision, biased or not: http://compare.helio.com/

A friend of mine got the iPhone, and he likes it. It seems very nice, just as advertised. But..... $600 + $60/mo or minimum of 2 years? Hmm... :p

I'm not planning to get one any time soon, but I'll probably enjoy trying his out at some point.

It would be able to be very small without all the extra stuff.I know a lot of people who carry around a 'phone, a music player, a PDA, a GPS system... I just figure it'd be a better idea to have a smartphone and pack it all into one device (and carry some spare batteries).
