View Full Version : 360 Degree Virtual Tour

I'm looking at a new angle to gain clients through real estate agents.

Can anyone tell me what type of code is used to create a 360 Virtual Tour that I can place on a website? I'm hoping it's just a script that I can find somewhere.

Any links, info, or any thoughts would definitely be appreciated!

Thanks! :)

I found some code that so far sorta works... followed the instructions and it works. Can't view in my HTML program, but it does work on the web.

Here's the link http://suskiwebdesign.com/resources/virtualtour.htm

When I preview it in browser from front page, it works... but when I view the actual page on the web it won't. Strange... gonna fool with it more and see if I can figure out why.

Snagged the actual source from the example and now it works. http://www.usejeff.com/360_tour.htm

Going to mess around with taking photos tonight and see how it turns out. Just need to find a good stitching program now...

You could also look into doing this through quicktime and embedding as an object in your page.
Google "Quicktime VR".

This approach is, of course, inferior.

I'm going to write a "lens" script when I get some free time; if you don't mind waiting a little, I'll build this functionality into it.

The virtual tour is definitely something that will be awhile before I can do. My best friend however informed me that I was a donkey for wanting to "give" prospective buyers to real estate agents hoping to get loans in return. He reminded me that I am licensed, and can do the sale myself :)

I am hoping I get fluent enough to repay the help I've received by helping others here at some point though. For now I'll just offer up logical ideas, and even though they may not be good... they should at least create a few belly laughs... those are always good :)
