From your list, I use ∵ and ∴ for math. I often use ∵ in non-math notes ∴ I use ∵ more than ∴

The 1337 !1!!!! stuff is only cool when people don't spell out "one" in them.

Ah, I've been guilty of using !!!!1111oneonemilliononehundredandeleventhousandonehundredandelevensin(30)+cos(60) on occasion :p Only in parody, though.

Heh, I do prefer radians, but most sin()/cos() implementations I know (other than those in mathematically-specific applications such as calculators) only take degrees.

Might as well get something from taking two quarters of calc last year. //shrug

(csc is the inverse of sin, sec of cos, cot of tan-- cosecant, secant, cotangent;
dy/dx means the derivitive, which is a complex way of saying slope, so the slope of f(x)=x is 1
...and there's the quick summary of calc :p)

cos^-1 is the inverse of that function, returning to a degree, from the ratio of two sides.
Secant, Cosecant and Cotangent are different. They are ratios of the size of a triangle, like sin/cos/tan, but inverted... their reciprocals.
s=o/h, c=a/h, t=o/a
(opposite side, adjacent, hypotenuse)
csc=h/o, sec=h/a, cot=a/o

Ironically, though, I've been up all night using inverse of cosine :p (cos^-1).

And, no, techno_race... though that is indeed very long, it isn't equal to 1. Sorry.

If what djr33 said isn't quite clear:

x is a ratio (any number)
θ is an angle

1/sin(x) = csc(x) = θ
1/cos(x) = sec(x) = θ
1/tan(x) = cot(x) = θ

arcsin(θ) = sin^-1(θ) = x
and so on...

(NOT the same as: sin(x)^-1... that would be csc(x))

The meaning of the arcFuncs is along the lines of:
sin(x) = θ
arcsin(θ) = x
(But not exactly, due to range (output) restrictions of all the arcFuncs, else they wouldn't be one-to-one.)


Anyway, here's something equal to 1:

(It's not as bad as it looks. It's just the volume of a sphere with radius 3*Math.pow(3/(4*Math.PI), 1/3) calculated with a triple integral, written in spherical coordinates. Ooops! Now I gave it all away!!!)

I was going to give a line integral or a flux integral, but I didn't feel like coming up with one equal to 1 (without using a scalar on the outside of the integral to cancel the answer).

Also:
I = 1

(expand or shrink this pattern for I)

Try learning some basic trigonometry. It's quite handy in a variety of situations, including programming.

For example, if you want an object to be displayed in an offset direction, instead of using something like Pythagorean's (sp?) theorem, you can use trig to greatly simplify the job for you using polar coordinates.

If this doesn't make sense to you, don't let is stop you from leaning math :D. Understanding the concepts of trig isn't bad in comparison to some other math topics, such as algebra.
