iframe with part of content

Hey guys,
A while ago I saw a thread on the forum regarding iframes, how to place the part of the site in it that you wish to be seen in the iframe. I remember there was somewhere like height:-50px, so that in the iframe the top 50px of the site wouldn't be seen. Am I explaining myself ? Does anyone remember where I can find that thread ?

I found it in the forum

but it still doesn't always show the page in the iframe, maybe because of other div's that I am using.
Is there a possibility in php ?
