Im one of those guys who knows his way around a computer but am new to actual coding.

I am jumping into using DreamWeaver (mistake?) and need help choosing a good host, Ive used tripod in the past But I dont know.

Anyways whats the best host out there?

Also Could someone take me under there wing? I am trying to make my Mom a site for her poetry!

I promise ill only use my new powers for good!

PS any good tutorials out there for dreamweaver?

I am jumping into using DreamWeaver (mistake?)Yup. Never use a WYSIWYG editor if you don't know what it's doing. When you do know what it's doing, you'll generally find it's a waste of time (and definitely money) anyway :)

Don't use W3Schools if you're a beginner. They have some misleading, false, and simply missing information (well, no tutorial's perfect, but W3Schools is worse than most) and unless you're already an experienced web developer, the chances are you won't know what's true and what isn't.
