Modify ticker buttons. Please help.

I am using the "Featured Content" ticker. The code can be viewed here

How can I modify the buttons on this ticker to show only Prev and Next, instead of the 1 2 3 next buttons as currently displayed.

Also, is it possible to add a pause on mouseover effect?

I have tried for too long to get this right, but my javascript knowledge is not good enough!

You can easily hide the pagination links, by finding the line:


pcontent+='<a href="#" onClick=\"ContentSlider.turnpage(\''+sliderid+'\', '+i+'); return false\">'+(slider.paginateText? slider.paginateText[i] : i+1)+'</a> '

and changing it to:


pcontent+='<a href="#" style="display:none" onClick=\"ContentSlider.turnpage(\''+sliderid+'\', '+i+'); return false\">'+(slider.paginateText? slider.paginateText[i] : i+1)+'</a> '

Adding a "prev" button is a lot more tricky though. If I have time I'll revisit this thread with some code.

Thanks for this.

I also realised that if you click on one of the numbers, it pauses that item. Perhaps it's possible to use this as a basis for mouseover pause too?
