Here's the script I need help on:
http://www.walterzorn.com/tooltip/tooltip_e.htm

This tooltip is bar none the greatest I've found yet. Every single thing about it can be customized. Wow! I have it all down perfect, but of course I'm stuck on the very last thing. I added an image to the tooltip, but I can't align it. I'm trying to left-align it so the text wraps around it. Otherwise, the tooltip is WAY too big, and a ton of space is wasted. I wrote to the guy who created it to ask what specific piece of code to use for the alignment and he said, "Just use HTML to align the picture." That didn't help me, because I'm using everything under the sun, every way I know how to align a picture, and it's not working.

What exact code do I need to put for the alignment?

show me your code but you could use CSS if something s are not working right. What browser are you using also.

Hi. :o

I'm using IE 6. Everything looks 100% fine with the tooltip. I'm certain that I'm just using the wrong code for the image alignment.

Of course the first piece of code is the little thing you have to download from the walterzorn site. Then here's my code:

<span style="position: absolute; left: 364; top: 100"><a href="index.htm" onmouseover="Tip('<img src=\'images/Bear_email.gif\'> All inquiries are answered in the order received, Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm, Eastern time. If you email us on an evening, weekend, or holiday, expect a reply the following business day.', FONTFACE, 'Tahoma', FONTSIZE, '11px', FONTCOLOR, '#000000', TEXTALIGN, 'justify', BGCOLOR, 'FFFFFF', BORDERWIDTH, 1, BORDERCOLOR, '#000000', SHADOW, true, SHADOWWIDTH, 12, SHADOWCOLOR, '#DD99AA', WIDTH, Integer = 245, OPACITY, Integer = 100)"><img border="0" src="images/Bear_email.gif" width="59" height="18"></span></a>

I'm looking to align the image at the top of the script, right after:
"Tip('<img src=

Please, oh please tell me you can do it. ;)

I had to bump this because the question wasn't answered yet, and I fear it will leave page 1.

Anyone? :(

Thank you for the link. ;)

But I'm very attached to the tooltip I need help on. I already looked at every one on this site, and I favor the one I'm asking about because every single thing can be customized: background color, font, border, shadow, images inside and on background, Title bar, etc... I've never found one that comprehensive before.

Surely there has to be a way to align this image

To make the iamge do what you want it to do in a normal paragraph, you would use float.

I'm not familiar with this tooltip script, but from the way you wrote it, with the backslashes for the quotes, , I'd say try this:

<img src=\'images/Bear_email.gif\' style=\'float:left\'> All inquiries are answered in the order received, Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm, Eastern time. If you email us on an evening, weekend, or holiday, expect a reply the following business day.....
