3) Describe problem: Hi, my 1st try with this sorta thing & it works fine in IE when I check it from the html editor & also in Firefox at any time but when I view it from my web page in IE it runs 1 or 2 messages then comes up with "undefined".

From what I can tell the problem is due to a Geocities- it loads a JS variable in IE that conflicts with one of this script's. I'm not 100% sure if this is the particular variable in question, but try doing a search of "messages" inside the Pausing scroller, and replace all instances of that with "msgs" instead.

Or, you can try using the newer version (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex2/crosstick.htm) of the script instead, which uses different variable names than the old one.
