1) Script Title: Image with tooltip

2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex4/imagetooltip.htm

3) Describe problem: I was able to add this script fine but then it messed up another script I have on the page that scrolls the content. Not sure why it doesn't work for me. I tried puting the js in an external file and that made the tooltip not work. Please help.

See working tooltip but not working scroller here:http://www.inkbytedesign.com/tribby/komarin.html

See working scroller here (but I had to remove the tooltip script):http://www.inkbytedesign.com/tribby/komarin2.html

Thanks.

You have an onload conflict. Get rid of this from the tooltip script:

window.onload = initTip;

Add to your body tag so it looks like this:

<body onload="eventLoader();initTip();">

There could be other problems.

Also, even though it doesn't seem to be hurting anything, the tooltip script belongs in the head of the page.

Your suggestions worked fine here:
http://www.inkbytedesign.com/tribby/komarintest.html

But when i place it where I ultimately want it the scroll is way up to the left and it doesnt work either. See here: http://www.inkbytedesign.com/tribby/komarin.html

Help again. Thank you.

Even your 'working' demo page doesn't work here in Opera or IE. I imagine that you are using a Mac. I think there is a function or variable missing or somehow unavailable:

standardbody

There probably are some other problems for those browsers. As far as positioning the output of js/gscroller.js goes, I am not at all familiar with that script. It isn't a DD script. You could try opening a new thread in the javascript section for that.

When I have more time, I may look further into all of this.
