Open two frame pages

I'm looking for a way to open two frame pages with one click. I have a frames page with two frames. A menu and a body. I need to be able to click a menu item and have both the menu AND the body change.

Use an onclick event to just change the src attributes for both of those frames...

What I end up with is pages opening in new tabs. Is there a modification to this or am I just doing something wrong?

Ah! what a bit of experimenting can do! I think i got it figured out... mostly.
