3) Describe problem: Is it possible to adapt this script so that it WILL reload previously loaded files? (nto cache them)

I have got it to load a script file as the page loads, however if the link is clicked again then the script doesn't appear to load a 2nd time.

All answers on a postcard.

(I did try to ask this before but I don't think I explained myself correctly).

Actually, by default, the script should already try to fetch a fresh version of a page each time it's requested (no caching). This is controlled by this variable inside the script:


var bustcachevar=1

Having said that, ultimately your browser (or the server hosting the file) may still cache the file depending on the page in question and how everything is set up. You may want to try adding the no-cache meta tags to the page as well to see if that helps:
