Do you maximize your windows

Sorta random question but, :D
When you are browsing files and folders do you max your window to the screen.

Personally I don't and everyone around my gets drivin to the point of insanity about it. Probably because they use low rez's.

I usually don't max the windows, mostly to multi-task. However, when I am playing a game or only looking at one window; then I maximize the window.

Nope, except for Firefox and "things I have to do" applications. (eg. Word)

I don't maximise any windows that I'm working with permanently with the exception of those that really need lots of screen real-estate, such as Blender or the GIMP with large images. I use a shell for file management, so that's never anywhere near maximised.

i do maximise windows. its not a case of resolution either - im running at 1204x1024 (or something).

I think its just become a habit because i'm used to low resolusions.

I do most of the time. I find it distracting to have stuff that I'm not really looking at behind what I really am looking at, especially if it is moving. But, for many tasks, one simply needs two or more windows in the foreground or at least visible, and to judge what a page looks like at other resolutions, changing the window and font size is often very useful.
