If your Firefox bookmarks disappear:
1. Go to Start and click on the "Run..." button on the right-hand panel.
2. Type "[/I]%APPDATA%" (without the quotes) in the box.
3. Click OK.
4. Click Mozilla.
5. Click Firefox.
6. Click Profiles.
7. Click (something).default.
8. Click bookmarkbackups.
9. Click the most recent date.
10A. If this is blank, use the next most recent date. Repeat until you find something that isn't blank.
10B. Once you find something that isn't blank, either:
10BA. Use the links to make new bookmarks.
10BB. Go back to the folder and right-click the file that you just opened, click Copy, on the top click the picture of a folder with an arrow pointing out of it, right-click "bookmarks.html," click Delete, at the top click Edit, click Paste, right-click "(date).html," click Rename, type "bookmarks.html" and press "Enter[I]."

Hi,quick question.What is the use of Firefox bookmark sync.I use it and was under the impression that it store your bookmarks on there site.I had to replace a faulty HDD and now my bookmarks are gone.?????????Can I get it back:eek:

That is an add on called FoxMarks. That's the one that stores the bookmarks on the server. You need to install it and log in for it to run. :)
