View Full Version : Window Widget IFrame Shim and onBlur help

I'm a newbie on this forum and a bit of a Javascript Novice.

I'm using the Window Widget (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex8/dhtmlwindow/index.htm) which is fantastic but I have 2 requests if anyone can help me:

1) I'm finding in IE6 my select boxes from my form are appearing on top of the window. I have read about an IFRAME technique but I don't really know how to incorporate it into the code. Does anyone know how I can do this? I don't really want to hide my dropdowns with CSS when the window is active, as in theory you should be able to select the fields while the window is open.

2) Also, I would like to minimise the window when the user clicks on the 'background'. Like an onBlur command I guess - but I have no real idea how to tackle that either. I'm not sure if I have thought it through well enough, because if I click on the link that spawns this window widget script, I of course don't want to minimise the window

Any help most appreciated,
