Thumbnail viewer - excellent script!

3) Describe problem:
I think this script is absolutely fantastic but I would like to tweak just a little but as my JS leaves a little to be desired, I'm stabbing in the dark so any help would be really appreciated.

We would dearly love for the content behind the loaded (larger) image to 'fade away', or become dimmed in the background so that the background content doesn't 'fight' with the larger image. I've been trying with full screen DIVS but cannot get it to work.

Well, you've really altered at least the way the presentation of the larger image is done. As a result, I'm not sure how adaptable this script:

http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex4/lightbox2/index.htm

will be, but in its original form it presents like thumbnailviewer in its original form and has the dimming effect you say you want.

Thanks John - you're a legend, that's what I need!! I've been using the thumbnail viewer for some time on many other sites and didn't even think that there maybe an alternative on the DD site. Thanks a mill' - I'll give it a go.
