this is bullcrap the US is trying to pass a law to make internet radio stations pay royalties for the music they play this could be the end of free internet radio

cyber laws are hard to enforce because anyone anywhere can post anything. So, in theory a person inside the USA could really just use a host outside of the US and nothing could be done about it.

Mail a canadian your server that streams the radio station/cash to pay for a new connection... We'd be happy to keep them running in our basements.
Hope that isn't illegal.

but most of the best internet radio stations are in the us
and technicly it is already illegal for an american to stream outside country internet radio but it isnt enforced well at all
