Does anyone have a modded script for lightbox-gone-wild so it can be used with iframes? I need it to act as lytebox does with its iframe content. i would use that but it only surrports images and not html.

Any help would be great! :)

Have you done as it suggests on the lytebox website

IMPORTANT: If you plan to use Lytebox in an iFrame environment, then you need to include lytebox.css in the parent document, while still including lytebox.js in the iFrame document. Samples are included in the download file from above. If you are still unsure where you need to include each, then it is perfectly safe to include both the css and js in both documents.

He said that he wants it for HTML, not images.

I meant for the light-box-gone-wild script.

The whole point is that 'gone wild' doesn't do iframes and that lytebox doesn't do HTML.

So I didn't get the question! :o

Here are all the other scripts that do similar things to make up (if it helps, I know it isn't an answer though).

EDIT: Isn't greybox what you're after?

Some interesting choices but, I think you still misunderstood. Or, maybe I missed something Bob90. What I think StealthRT is looking for is a script like lytebox that can extend its effect to the top page, even when it is running inside an iframe. Lytebox is the only script of this type that can do this that I am aware of. However, lytebox only does images. Several of the scripts listed at your link can display content, but none of them can spill over onto the top page. One (or more) of them use iframes, but that is different from being in an iframe and being able to spill out over that containing iframe like lytebox can.

Incidentally, the lytebox technique for this isn't at all bullet proof if there are yet other iframes or frames involved.

To all jscheuer1 is correct about what i am looking for :)

This is the demo ive been working on:
http://www.rivingtonclub.com/tbox_tests.html

It seems to use the thickbox and he modded the js code to suit the html side.

This is my page that im working on using the above code:
http://nkphotography.net/iframe.html

When you click on the image in the corner, it only fills half the screen with the overlay. I have yet to be able to correct this (since i know little about javascript).

Any help on that would be great as well :)
