Hello all,
Post the(screenshot) of the default (mouse)cursors of your systems here. :)
Just a random topic. ;)
(sorry can't post mine because gnome-screenshot doesn't let me capture the cursor).

In fact, I don't know any systems that do capture the mouse.

If many folks figure out how to cap their cursor and post it, you are going to get a lot of those shaded pointers.

Looks just about the same, but it's black. Or white, when I boot to XP (instead of OSX). :p

LOL, if you can't post the snapshot, post the .cur/.xpm or whatever here. ;)

:D Image editing is one of my things; for those of you that can't capture your cursor on Windows XP or under (Vista lets you), post it here and I'll be happy to convert it. You can attach it in a zip file or... some filehosting service, but for me, a zip file would be more convenient.
To get the cursor file:
Go to Control Panel > Mouse
Select the Pointers tab
Click on the default pointer (or whatever pointer you want posted)
Note the filename at the end of the textbox
Open Windows Explorer
Type C:\, P:\, D:\, A:\, &c. in the address bar (the system drive)
Click on WINNT or WINDOWS - whichever is in the list
Click on Cursors
Find that file
Copy it somewhere (optional)
There it is!
To make a zip file:
Right click it
Go to the Send To menu
Select Compressed (zipped) Folder
There it is!
NOTE:
If you have an AVI, SWF, FLA, MPG, MPEG or WMV file of an animated cursor, I can convert it to an animated GIF for you.
