okay, i use blogspot.
so naturally i could not upload any scripts there.. so i came up with an idea of password protecting my blog, because a teacher was reading it :/
Some passwords are hackable, so i needed an unhackable password :D

My idea was having a field for the person to type the password in. lets say, the password is apple. so, if the person types apple in the field, he will be redirected to http://apple.blogspot.com. an example is

[did that thing on msPAINT]

however, if i'm not wrong, another way is also to put http://.blogspot.com in the field and ask people to enter in 'apple' between the http// and the .blogspot. however, what if i do have people who dont understand this? they wouldnt be able to access my blog ): therefore, i'd like this idea out..

^^^^^^ IDEA OUT. ^^^^^^

also, i never heard of such a script that would allow you to type in a URL in a form and redirect you to that URL. :'P so if you would help me with that, I will be eternally grateful.
so i'm asking..
1) for that script
2) how do you let the person just type in a part of the URL and get to the URL

but, if theres any other secure password protecting script that isn't so complex and doesnt require uploading of scripts in a server of any kind, please recommend =D

sorry for this long post, i'm a newbie at scripts xD;

There are plenty of free "Remotely Hosted User Authentication (http://www.google.com/search?q=Remotely+Hosted+User+Authentication&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a)" scripts available. Try searching through google for these if you don't want to upload scripts to a server. It really isn't that secure, but that's what you get if you don't have access to your server (uploading scripts wise).
Hope this helps.
