Email With Images

Hi all,

When a member joins up to my site I have they receive an email automatically telling them they have joined... Can I put a logo in that email? Or can it only be text?

Beyond what I've done with email, but you can do that using attachments, or embed with html.

For attachments, they are included as an additional header, in some type of encoding. Look that up.

HTML is also set with a header, then the body of the email can be html. However, some browsers/email servers/email clients don't support this, so you might want to be careful. Also look up the way to do this. It's a bit complex.

Yes, you are able to send images with, but I don't remember how to right now. I'll post if I figure out how again ;)
