I've got a mic but I need free software to make some mp3 files.
Anyone got any idea?

Thank you...

LAME (http://lame.sourceforge.net/index.php) is Free, open-source and very easy to use. However, I usually find that Vorbis (http://www.vorbis.com/) yields a better quality-to-filesize ratio (and MP3 had licensing issues, last time I checked).

Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net) is a good choice when you download the LAME encoder for it.

Audacity is a sound editor, not just an MP3 encoder. It's the LAME libraries it uses that do that.

Yes, that's the point. He didn't say he already had sound files, he said he had a mic.
