nieee. It isn't so easy as you think..
Unfortunately this css property doesn't work as we would imagine(want)..
And also except from that i don't think IE would follow any standard CSS..
Anyway i found a solution here (http://www.dynamicsitesolutions.com/css/center-page-content-horizontally-and-vertically/). Hope it helps some other users in this forum..

It is easier though than all that:

and even easier than shown there. However, it really isn't such a great idea. Why not just use the space that you are given?

Do u mean to cover the whole page with content?
I want to embed a swf with lets say resolution 800x600.
What would be nice is to have inside flash file a movieClip as background that can have any resolution and in the middle of that another movie clip that remain in the same resolution no matter what resolution has the browser. Is that possible?
P.S. I know i'm in the wrong category..to ask this.
Thanx.

Yes you are in the wrong sub-forum. I'm nowhere near expert in Flash but, I'm pretty sure there is a way to do that sort of presentation in Flash.
Why not try that in question in the Flash forum? If you are already using Flash anyway, it would be the way to go.
