Hello :),

One day i had a very great game and i have forgoten it's name but here are the specs maybe someone here knows it -

- turrets involved (laser turret, gun turret, grenade turret, missles turret, auto-matic AI controlled turret)

- Alot of types of enemies (soldiers, tanks, ships, aeroplanes)

- Main idea (was to protect a base)

Remember that all this is what i think i remember and there is more to it then just that...

Thanks for your help guys :)

Rampage.

I don't remember soldiers though, you were protecting the base from space ships, aliens I think. I have the C.D. at home in my PC games pile, LOL

In the start you are in a purple laser shooting turret seat, then you have to run and protect the plane, then get in the plane and begin your areal assault... quite fun I thought.

I'm pretty sure this isn't it but what you describe reminds me quite a bit of a game I had once. I also forget the name but it had something to do with nuclear war. Bombers would fly over and try to nuke your cities and missiles would also be fired at your cities. All this happened in ever increasingly difficult to defend against waves. You had two artillery type laser cannons to defend the cities with by knocking the planes and nukes out of the air. These cannons were also targeted by the nukes, if you lost one, it was gone for the remainder of the game, lose both and game over because, the bombs would then wipe you out. The more successful you were in defending the cities, the more points you would get, even as the death toll rose. With enough points, you could earn bonus cities that would rise from the ashes of destroyed ones. In the end though, everything was always reduced to rubble and ashes.

The chances seem slim at the moment. The game I described incidentally was very small, a single executable I think.

The game as i recall had more than one file, though i have to say that i am suprised that so many of you people have even played games with turrets ...

Anyway i have now decided there is no point of finding it any more instead i have turned over a new leaf and now wish to find a new game that consists of turrets :) and upgrades :)

Thanks :)

Well, now I am stuck on this other game you wanted to find.

Can I have a few more details? Did you see the character you controlled? Was it 1st person? What were the enemies like? Any details you can pull out of your memory?

There was no main character or any at all - all you were was a turret which was controlled by your mouse and it was birds eye view

The enemies just tried to come and destroy your base which you had to protect

When you wanted to select your mission there would be this world map - you had to click your mission and then you came at the weapons selections area (basically all turrets - some AI controlled and a missil launcher)

Thats all i remember for now ...
