Countup with functionality equal to Dynamic Countdown Script

I need a modification of this countdown script.

There is a Countup script (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex6/countingup.htm). But this one does not meet my needs. I would need a Countup that has functionality equal to the mentioned Countdown with selectable base unit and flexibility to customize the script output.

Can someone modify the Dynamic Countdown Script to become a Countup?
