I had to do this one - I really don't believe that someone posted at 1 in the morning.

I'm in the pacific Time Zone (Nevada, USA).

Sometimes people do, sometimes they don't. Either way, the time that it shows is based on your timezone. So it may say 1 AM on your screen, but to somone else it may be 10pm (example, not true comparison).

We should have a web developpers convention...

Actually, if it's 1AM here, it would be the previous 10 PM at the International Date Line West and the next in New Zealand.

Wow, I just took a shot in the dark.
I quite often post in the small hours of the morning...
... hey, I'm the only Brit around here now, aren't I? Come back, Mike!

GMT is a better convention for specifying timezones, because the names will change depending on what contenent your on.
GMT-5 for me, twey, GMT-0(I Think)
thetestingsite, GMT-8...
twey, GMT-0(I Think)More easily specified as just "GMT" :) Due to daylight savings (Scots hate going to work an hour before the sun rises), we switch to GMT+1 in the summer.

GMT - 8 here.
Day light savings changes this year, 2 weeks early and lasts 3 weeks longer. YAY!

Pacific. North California.
I'm on around the clock, as my sleep schedule is strange. I'm frequently around more from perhaps 5pm to 4am, though it varies by day. Sometimes I'll be up through the morning, and I'm also on when I have time during the day.
I believe, according to my general sleep pattern, I'd either fall into a "normal" Icelandic pattern, or perhaps somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic.
EDIT: PST - GMT-8

GMT+11 DST
Unlike some people, I sleep during normal times (10:00pm-6:30am) just to get up for school :)
