1) Script Title: Lightbox Imageviewer 2.0

2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex4/lightbox2/index.htm

3) Describe problem: Whats going on with my page is that my main navigation bar overlaps the image viewer box when the script runs no matter how i set the z-index. The problem only exists on IE6 + 7 that i've noticed. Firefox for win/mac works fine and safari for mac works fine.

Any suggestions?

<!--[if IE]>
<style type="text/css">
#lightbox, #overlay {
z-index:10000!important;
}
</style>
<![endif]-->
<script src="js/prototype.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

<script src="js/scriptaculous.js?load=effects" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="js/lightbox.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

Thanks a lot man. That worked!

Do you know any good websites where i can get a better understanding of javascript at? Maybe a tutorial site?

Well, that solution was a combination of css and IE conditional comments. Neither of which are javascript. A fairly good tutorial site is:

http://www.w3schools.com/

They cover most things, including javascript. However, there is no tutorial site that really gets everything right. Still, that is a very good one.
